Dr.Gloom has supported Newcastle United for over 40 years. During that time he has changed from the optimistic young lad who firmly believed that each season was going to be "our year", into the doom laden figure he is today who, even though he would love to be wrong, is convinced that NUFC are destined never to win a domestic trophy. Even at the height of the Keegan era when we were 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League, his was the lone voice who said that we would not win. Sadly he was proved to be correct.
